Funny story of the day:
I got myself some McDonalds fries and Sasha decided she wanted a few. I obliged and gave her a few and then I told her to go lay down. The princess was not please and proceeded to vocalize her displeasure. Trying hard not to laugh, I again told her to go lay down. With a mighty huff of frustration she walked over to her deer antler, looked at me, and then ran and hid it behind the chair as if to say, "If I can't have any fries you can have none of my deer antler. Take that!" Much to her dismay this attempt to make me jealous did not succeed, and she did not get any fries.

Oh, the GSD sigh/huff. Baxter pulls that one on me all the time! They are such goofy dogs. Love that she wouldn't let you have her antler!

I can't believe you wouldn't give up your fries in exchange for a deer antler. Girl, where are your values?

The long, low, grumble of giving in. Scarlett has recently become even more vocal with us. She will literally carry on a conversation (generally she is complaining about some perceived slight by us...)
You know you really wanted to gnaw on that deer antler...How disappointed you must have been when it was "hidden" from you.

LOL yes I suppose I was a little jealous I couldn't have the antler
![]() Scarlettsmom: I love that, "The long low, grumble of giving in" that's exactly what it is. Usually followed by sad or ticked off eyes. Oh and Sasha has conversations about ways I slight her, but she usually has them with my mom. I'm sure when Sasha and I go home Friday there will be some MAJOR tattling. Lilie: It is so hard to resist the eyes. ![]() Even harder when it's your GSD

Hondo actually gives me single eye winks. Always has. Soulful eyes....then he winks, just one eye.
Sometimes, when I've had to get on to him and I send him to 'time out', I avoid looking at him. Don't want to see those eyes.......
