This Should Be Fun

The house across the street and to the right a little bit has been abandoned since before we got Wolfie. Since there has never been anyone there, he barks if he sees anyone over there. It is really close to our house. My street has 7 houses on it and is a small dead end street with the houses really close together. The owners are going to tear down the house, and build a new one in it's place. In the past month there have been surveyors there, and the owners, emptying out the house, etc. Wolfie barks when he sees anyone new going over there. He doesn't bark at the owners anymore, as he is used to seeing them. Today, they brought in a giant excavator which they will use to tear the house down. The street is so tight that they had to park the 18 wheeler right in front of our house, off load the excavator there and drive it over to the house. Wolfie was barking. Of course he stopped when I told him it was ok, but I can just see it coming now. Construction is allowed to start at 7 am. There will be different workers all over the place here, and definitely walking in my property as well. There is no way around it. I hope that Wolfie quickly gets used to the idea of a lot of different people walking around where there is at the most 2 people a day walking by.

Seriously? Wolfie sleeps until 9 or 9:30 am usually!
