I made fish sticks for lunch today and one fell on the floor. The cat grabbed it and was chewing on it. Knuckles went up to him and I told him "leave it", so he went a few feet away and laid down and just watched the cat eat that wonderful smelling morsel. I told my husband, "look at that face, Honey! He looks so pitiful!". Without a second thought, the hubby said, "I know that look, I got that look everyday for weeks until you got to bring him home"

Nope, the cat inhaled it, a few breading crumbs were left that the dogs cleaned up, that was it.
Days like that my dogs hate me. The cats are above the dogs in this house. If it's the cats, you don't touch it. They find out early. I have a female cat that loves to eat the dogfood - the dogs (yep, Knuckles is already learning!) will sit there and wait for her to be done. I'm sure they are sitting there laughing at her because she only eats one or two pieces but it takes her forever to chew them up! ![]() Quote:
