Daddy's home!!!!
So, Jinx's Daddy came home from Iraq on Saturday. I of course had my camera to capture it on film but I got tricked!!! We had him in the backyard and she ran to him all super happy wanting to play with him and I of course had the camera rolling. Well, then I put the camera away and we went inside and as soon as he sat down in HIS chair she went BALISTIC!!!! She started jumping all over him squeeling at the top of her lungs like we were killing her. I tried to quickly get the camera going again but not sure how much I caught. Not sure what the heck happened but it's like it officially clicked inside in the chair that it was her daddy and he was actually home so bummed I didn't get all that on camera.
However, she is soooo happy to have her daddy. She is following him around everywhere laying on top of him not letting him move. He had to go back to work today and when I let her outback to go potty she got this look on her face like she was about to do something she knew she'd get in trouble for and took off out front. I opened the front door and she came running in but its like she had to check for her daddy and went to see if the car was still here. We went out to a movie yesterday and when we got home I went and let her outside and she blew past me and ran to the car to make sure I brought him back with me and when she saw him started jumping around squeaking like crazy. I'm sure she thought after being gone 4 hours he wasn't coming back. Through out the night she jumps on the bed and goes over gives him a kiss then goes back and lays down its so darn cute. She will finally lay down and calm down in the living room but if he says anything shes up and running to him with a toy. I can do whatever walk around the house and she just lays there but if I ask if he wants a drink and he says yes she's up and running to him with a toy lol. As soon as I can find my camera cord I will get what little video I do have up. He came home from PT this morning and when he went back to work she laid in front of the door just crying for almost a half hour before I called her to me to work on some obediance to side track her. Butt head, for a year its been me doing all training, walking, hiking, potty breaks, feedings etc... and the second he comes home mommy doesn't exhist and daddy is the best thing in the world. I tell her she can't have something and she turns and looks at him like "daddy what do you say". Makes me chuckle at all the people who think their dog hates them because they choose another family member as the favorite who doesn't do as much. I have done everything and he has been gone her entire life minus a few weeks and no matter how long he's gone he is her favorite without a doubt. Doesn't mean she doesn't love me she's currently cuddled up with me since hes gone but I know when he walks in the door she'll jump off me and I wont see her again until 2 am when she wakes ME up to go outside lol.
