I completely understand. Bunny waits for bedtime and then the grooming ritual begins and she too is obnoxiously loud!

We love Joey to pieces, but he's been doing the nighttime licking/sucking and it's getting a little unnerving. We tell him to relax, doesn't work.

Is it a nocturnal thing?

Is there a way to make him stop?

hahaha I'm so glad it's not just me. My husband thinks there's something wrong with me because of how annoyed I get with all the LICKING!!!!!!

Fortunately the offending licker is usually pretty good about stopping when I clear my throat loudly or say their name. I use a noise machine at night so that really eliminates the nighttime annoying sounds. (or at least reduces them a great deal)

We have a small fan going in the room (I need "white noise" anyway to sleep), so that helps a little.

Joey sleeps on the floor next to my husband, so he's the one that really gets an earful.

I can actually block out the licking most times however she is amazingly good with "Jinx enough" I didn't even teach it just one day said it and she stopped and so far it has 100% accuracy with the licking... unfortunately not with everything else lol.

Its bad being able to block it out because one day she was behind the couch and she licked the bottom of her paw raw in between the pads really really bad (think she had mud left from our hike that irritated the skin or something) so now I have to try and focus on the liking so if it lasts awhile I can stop her
