Not so good news for Martini

: It looks like we're at a standstill with Martini's treatments :-/ She is not responding to IV treatment--her kidney values have not come down at all. So, I'm headed back to the vet with her this afternoon so they can teach me how to inject fluids under the skin (subcutaneous) twice/day to see if that helps her. He doesn't want to put her down just yet because she is acting somewhat normal, despite the fact that her kidney values would indicate a much sicklier dog. I don't know how long she will last this way, but we are hoping for the best.

Sorry to hear what your going thru. I had to do IV fluids for my cat years ago for about a month. Honestly at first it wasn't bad, then my cat started to hide from me.
I hope it helps your dog. Good luck.

She's been a trouper and has made it through when others would have succumbed! She will fight this and come out a winner!! I'm pulling and praying for you Martini!!!
