Default Forget this, I'll get my own treats

Early this morning I was working on some very basic obedience with Gypsy. She knows sit well and she learned down in about 15 minutes yesterday (I'm so proud ) and we were just working on those two things for a few minutes. I had a baggie full of kibble and liver in my pocket and was treating her every other command or so, and then it happened. I had left the container of liver on the table. Gypsy looked at me, looked at the kitchen, looked back at me and then turned and went for the container on the table, like "Forget about you, I'll just get my own treats that I don't have to jump through hoops for" I told her off and she immediately left the treats and got out of the kitchen, but I just thought it was too funny. I didn't even think about leaving the treats there, because my poor Lab mix would never in her life have noticed that the liver was on the table, she would have just kept waiting for me to hand her some from my pocket. Needless to say, I love having a Germand Shepherd

Haha, that's one smart cookie! Looks like she's rather train herself.
