Default Puppy needs to go out!

Last night about midnight I heard Knuckles whining in his crate (he's right along side our bed). I was half asleep hoping he would just go back to sleep when I get a cold Golden nose on my back PUSHING. I turn over and Saki barks at me. Yeah, I get it, puppy needs to go out, geez.

Then I realize it's raining outside. "Really Saki? It's raining! The puppy wasn't crying that much!"

Saki hates storms and she has this thing that she will ask to go out right before the storm hits so she doesn't have to go out during it. So I get up, get the dogs out in the garage and open the door to the backyard... Saki goes running out and does her business. Knuckles takes one step through the doorway and rain hits his head. Back in the garage he goes. I kept telling him "go outside go potty" and he'd try, but kept stopping at the door. Finally I picked him up and walked out into the dark, in the rain, and set him down and said "go potty". He turned around and barreled back into the garage... and went potty on the garage floor.

Next time I'm grabbing the umbrella.

LOL- sounds SOOO familiar. Mine will go out in it as long as it is not a downpour. We are getting a minimum of 6-8 inches of rain today and the same expected tomorrow... iti s going to be a fun weekend!
