Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or play with it, pee on it and walk away.

Yes, mine is chewed nearly in two right where my hand normally sits. It makes me wonder what they were really trying to accomplish. Maybe they unconsciously hate me and my iron hand rule as dictator in cheif.

But not being able to verbilize their feelings, and being too afraid to vent on the object of their disapproval, they have instead attacked this object that I obviously cherish that is once removed from my person.

It appears that they too will be entered into the young offenders program at their school in hopes to keep them outta the big house like Milla and Ninja. Milla and Ninja are now lifers so it did not work for them. Hmmmm.

I gave up on the pooper scooper years ago and have gone bag to baggies wrapped in hand. Mine have tormented and killed every scooper we ever purchased- it's a personal thing for them I have come to think. My toilet brushes disappear too only to be found in the yard in pieces along with socks I totally blamed the dryer for eating. Silly pups rock though

Baggies and my crew??? Landfills beware! For me the pooper scooper is still more eco-friendly, not that I am an environmentalist or anything.

It is amazing how the little whelps can get household items outside. I mean, I do generally frisk them when going out. How do you miss the toilet brush??? What were they taking that into The Yard to do??? I suppose they thought since you normally have it in your toilet area, they thought they should have it in theirs???

Zoe is a quick thief. If my screen door is open half the house is outside before I can put a stop to it. She doesn't usually destroy objects these days just hoards them for herself. Maybe it's like a cat bringing home dead mice just reversed

Mine are thieves, or the politically correct canine alternative: opportunists.

And they are sneaky. Wherever Joy is hanging out during the day I have to do a once over to make sure she has not snagged a toy that is not safe for long term abuse.

They steal from each other too. Somehow Joy got five dinasoar sized bones into her x-penned area in front of her doggy door. Five of them. The area looked like an elephant graveyard. I think she watches and waits for her chance, and then makes a bee-line, snags and runs, puts it in the house where I will not see it, and then comes out again "just acting natural."

Some days I do feel like the Warden.
