Default "Daddy! Say sorry and tell mommy she was right!"

After a slight sick day, i got the dogs situated and moved them to their crates for a nap. Hubby got out of work and pulls in the driveway with his typical loud music. It wakes me, and I look accross the other end of the couch to see stauba laying on my feet. Hmm....confused. Pat comes in, notices Stauba has eaten the 3rd replacement headset for his xbox. Then i get this huge speech about crating the dogs before i take a nap blah blah blah. I tried to explain that i SWORE i had crated her, and i was just confused and sick....so maybe i forgot. So, he continues his typical cranky man grumbling and crates her. He comes back in, sits down, and i said, "Listen, i even buried the headset in the couch, and put a pillow on it, just because i know she's drawn to those". So then, I get, "Oh, so explain to me how you crated her, you just left her in here, didnt you?" Pat gets up to go downstairs, opens the door, and in walks miss stauba. She jumps on the couch on my lap, wags her tail, looks at him, then pulls her ears back, then wagged faster. All i could say is, "What's that? You're telling daddy to say sorry, and to tell mommy she was right?!"

It was an awesome in your face moment.

Still wondering how she opened the crate though. lol

Way funny. Better put a clip on the crate door; they can sometimes come open! LOL

what kind of clip? for now i just traded crates with my two. aschen is very well behaved and just lays down when crated. When i walk by, he stays laying, and stauba starts running in a very small circle and wagging her tail while stomping as loud as possible (sounds like someone dropped 1000 pans in a kitchen!) but just in case my 2nd crate is actually easy-open, i'd love to know!
