Wink Just a funny moment

I've previously said on this forum that I didn't think my baby boy would save me from any dangerous situation. We argued for numerous pages on the fact that dogs are or are not protective and on the reasons why.

Well, Phenix is totaly fear of door stoppers (why? I can't tell!!!). Last week, I was cleaning something on the floor when I accidentely hooked the door stopper which made this funny noise "zzzztttrrrrggggg". Immediately, Phenix stood up. I had an idea and than started to say "Help me Phenix, please, come. Help momy, Phenix, please come, Aie! Aie! Aie! Phenix, help mom!!"

At my surprise, Phenix unsurely came toward me! I was impressed! But no.....the dream stop when I saw him took his precious bone, looking at me and the door stopper, and ran away!!!! Lord......

Shasta loves those door stoppers! I've had to unscrew them all and put them up so she doesn't ruin them.

Too funny! At least you know Phenix will protect something from those dreaded door stoppers!

Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or play with it, pee on it and walk away.

LOL!!! That's so funny! He could probably tell you weren't in real danger.

When Dakota was around 4-6 months old, I took her out back one night to go potty. My dh hid behind a bush and started growling and shaking the bush to see what she would do. She started pulling on her leash and growling and barking like crazy. Very vicious! I was so proud! He said let her go. I wasn't too sure, but he insisted. I let her go and she turned right around, ran to the house and left me out there, lol! It was too funny!

Yeah - well I was in real danger once. There was a mouse in the laundry room. It fell from somewhere and landed on me. I let out a blood curdling scream. My fearless dog????
She peed on the floor.
