Default The Velvet Eyeball

She does It to me everytime. I’m putting everyone out and find Allie missing. I go back into the bedroom to find she is (of course) draped across the bed. I take her collar to escort her outside and BOOM! She hits me with the velvet eyeballs. You know: the eyes get all chocolate colored and soft, the ears go down and your GSD silently communicates to you the awful cruelty of your act, the hardship you are inflicting. Sometimes she tosses in a soft, pathetic whine as well. How am I supposed to challenge that?

German Shepherds just don’t fight fair.

Ah yes... first time I've heard it called that, but I've
experienced it many times...

Give Allie a smooch from her "Auntie Val"!

Trust me, it's not any better when the kids give the velvet eyeball!

I always called this their "guilt-emitting hormones." Sigh.

I love that name for it . Lola does that to me when she sees me putting on my work uniform.

Missy does it to me all the time. Sadly most of the time she gets away with it to.
