They are amazing.

There is a GSD rescue here in Florida called Heidi's Legacy. On their website, it tells the story of Heidi -- The rescue founder (prior to getting into rescue) found Heidi dumped on a deserted road where lots of dogs got dumped. She picked her up and took her home. The woman came down with cancer. She said Heidi stood by her side the entire time she was sick, went through treatment, then recovered. After the woman recovered, Heidi died.

They are ANGELS!

He is gorgeous!

I have two!? I couldn't even tell you which one I have a stronger bond with. They both have such a special place in my heart!
I have a 15 year old lab/gsd mix named mimi. She has been the love of my life. Even at her age she is amazing. She is in excellent health (her vet doesn't believe that she is not only 6! lol) and is very active. She has the biggest heart and is still at her age patient as ever with kids climbing on her and such. Doesn't matter the low I hit she is there. I have taken her everywhere with me and wouldn't have it any other way. She has protected me and my home and has made every house I have moved to into a home!

Baron, although I only have had him for three months so far is amazing...he is the most attentive dog I have ever met and I didn't think any dog could be more so than mimi. I think they coined the phrase 'follow you around like a puppy dog' from him because that is all he does! He has such an intense love and focus that is addicting. I don't like going anywhere if I can't take him with me.

I know mimi won't last much forever and I wondered for the longest time if I would ever be able to move on and love a dog as much as I love her. Baron is here and lets me know that he is here for me and I know he will pull me through. I still fear for that day but I know I have a strong bold puppy that will help me.
