Not the worst, not the best, what do you think?

Looking for all options, I know the xray is not the best.

Left side (right) is not great and makes a clicking sound. This is a 6 month old puppy.

We started Glucosamine/Chondroitin, heavy doze as well as 5 treatments of ichon.

Should we look into TPO before it's too late? Anyone had a dog live a normal life with such hips?

Puppy is showing no signs of pain, runs fast, jumps onto everything and I have to lower him down.

Thank you for all and any feedback.

Crickets? I am pretty much in panic mode as I have no idea what I am looking at and the vet just told us to use supplements. He did not even say how bad this is.

I can't read an X-ray to save my life, but there are plenty here that can. Hang on and someone will see this and give you their opinion.

I think that I have looked at every picture and every xray on the internet at this point I will be calling around tomorrow to see if i can send this to a specialist and ask about TPO. The surgery sounds terrifying, but the success rate is comforting.

I left the vets office more lost than when I walked in. All he said was there is 30% coverage on one side try supplements, but I don't think you need surgery. That was pretty much it. I guess i was in too much shock to ask proper questions.

keep her lean and do supplements for sure

The only reason I thought surgery is because TPO is a cure for HD. (90% success rate and it can only be done to puppies. But at the same time, I have no idea if this is that bad, or could it improve with proper care.

I can see it is not good, but I don't know at what point or age surgery is recommended. I would get a referral to a specialist. My guess would be that what we see here is not something that can improve with age, they're definitely not going to ever pass.
