Default SHOW ME your GSD in costumes/holiday attire!

OK I am not going to lie...I am obsessed with animals that wear costumes or are dressed up for the holidays. So show me your pictures. I wanna see Halloween, Xmas, whatever you got. Maybe this way my husband will let me buy little devil horns to put on Lena and Della lol...

I think that dressing up a GSD is undignified. I don't really get into that sort of thing.

Neckerchiefs on a GSD is another thing I think looks stupid.

Hey understand where you're coming from..but I do the same with my own children. Hey, if you can't enjoy life, then what is left? I know my son will love me when I bust out his pictures of him dressed up like a little pumpkin when he was 2 years old LOL! Anywho, to each their own. I won't do it though if Lena and Della let me know that dignity is an important factor in their lives promise!

Agreed.

Too noble of a dog to be made to look ridiculous.

I would post pictures if I had any and if I wasn't too inept to post pictures. Many people dress up their dogs - GSDs included. I really don't think the dogs care. (We have also been known to dress up our horse and rabbits.) Horrible, aren't we?

Aw pffft. I have Rocket wear a Santa hat for a picture in front of the tree usually, and he has a Superman cape he wears on Halloween. His first October he wore a prison suit costume for that night that said "Bad Dog" on it. Cracked me up.

Mary Ann ( doesn't come here anymore) used to dress her white girl up in hats on the holidays. She was beautiful and such a lady. The hats only added to her personality.

I think a lot of people anthropomorphize dogs into being "noble" and "dignified"... They don't feel those emotions, surely.

If they aren't bothered by clothing and look good in it, I do it. I think it's adorable, too. I don't have any pictures of mine in clothes right now, but I will share if I find some!

Frankly I think Echo is MORE noble and dignified in costume.
