Ben looks alot like Gunner did at his age. Maybe it's like looking into the future. OK by me. Gunner looks great.

Zira had a nice dark mask too....

When we got her at 3.5months:

5 months:

7months:

1.5 years

and now (almost 2 years):

She's MUCH lighter then she used to be. When we got her, she was almost all black. Now, she is a large saddle back with a bitch stripe and a good amount of tan in her face.

I do miss all the nice black she had.....

Ollie's pretty dark and has had very little color change since he was 8 weeks(granted he's only about 3 weeks shy of turning 5 months), in fact if you catch him at the right angle he looks bi-color, lol. Had a guy at the pet store not believe me that he is a GSD because of his coloring. His dam though is a solid black WL... I am noticing red hairs coming in on the bridge of his nose and in the right light I can see some red hair on the top of his head too. Very curious to see how he changes! I'll be a little sad if he loses his mask but mostly because that's just how I'm used to seeing now.

8 weeks

I think both my dogs have a pretty nice dark mask. Stark's head is my favorite though.
