Thanks Aimee. for some reason I don't have a single picture of the other side of the house! It was a lot of digging and thankfully I have a man that knows how to lay a stone wall so it will be better if we ever get all my projects done. It's beautiful country here in the Appalachians...but still can't beat a Michigan beach!

There is something wrong with those pictures. There is no way to keep landscaping like that with multple GSD's.

Photoshop maybe?

We worry about herons landing and feasting on ours, so far so good. Our pond is protected some with oak tree cover, heron flying over won't notice it easily.

Patio- we fenced the whole thing once my son started walking.

We installed a mister - Texas heat isn't very pleasant as you all know.

Koda's loves his patio

My other hobby, gardening

Hmm, it looks bigger in pics than real life! The whole lot is 135x44 feet, so the width of the yard is about 34' (the garage and shed take up space and the dogs are not allowed between them or behind them) and there's probably 50' from the back of the house to the fence, maybe less.

The little make-shift fence is because there's a Rottweiler behind us so this keeps my dogs off the shadowbox fence (that dog will jam his teeth through).

The spots are from Coke's pee but I don't think that happens anymore, must be the change in food.

In April I pulled out the cheap, crappily installed 4' chain link fence and had a professional install top gauge 6' chain link so that the fence line extends in front of the side door (so I can prop it open in nice weather, not have to escort dogs out and into the back yard).

The raised garden bed is falling in but I'm going to rebuild it eventually. Right now it houses plants that the dogs have trampled and peed on almost to death.

My 80 year old house (the inside is a lot more charming than out!)
