Well I'm about 5 months behind LOL ... I just ordered your book (I have a long coat too!) and then got an email that it would be delayed because of hurricane Sandy ... maybe I should finally invest in an e-reader?
What a wonderful story about Athena - the discovery of problems, and your personal nurse! Animals never cease to amaze me, and your story was yet another to add to the list of amazing things animals are capable of! I hope you are fully recovered by now!

Thanks for replying--don't worry about being behind; I feel like my entire life is behind ![]() Between Hurricane Sandy and my recent thumb surgery, I have been woefully tardy in my forum duties... Hope you enjoy the book and that you see a lot of your little long-coat in there. I can't tell if it's a boy or girl, but I recognize that ear floof (in my vocabulary, it's a real word lol) anywhere! Best wishes, Cat |

Another surgery? Was Athena just as attentive? Kyleigh's a girl ... not that you'd notice under ALL that fur! Yes, her ear floofies are wonderful. I had someone ask me the other day how long it takes to crimp her fur? SERIOUSLY? I said oh, only about 3-4 minutes an ear ... and just walked off!
Hope you're doing well!

Ha! Yes, this surgery was minor and due to a weird accident--I somehow got a metal splinter under my thumbnail from a latch in the ladies' restroom. Athena was very sweet about the giant paw bandage I had to wear (some of my thumbnail had to be sliced off to get to the metal splinter--I'll let your clenched body relax for a few seconds after reading that). I touched the bandage and yelped and then let her sniff it; she was very gentle and looked sad. Oh so that's your dog's name! Got it. I thought it was your name lol. She is ADORABLE. Lol--ear crimping. You should tell the next person who asks you that "She's just getting ready for a Tiffany concert."*
*the 80s called; they want their reference back Too funny!!! |
