I would also introduce other protein sources, lamb, beef, kangaroo mince this morning for my 11 week old (cheap in Australia obviously). Now this is not only for varied nutrition sources of vitamins...

Yea, allow a few days to a week. Then sometimes when you introduce a new protein... Not a drama. Mine are all dumping nice little sausage pellets, about 1/3 of the bulk of a kibble...

Eggs are good, but I find it a little messy...
Eggs are good, but I find it a little messy unless mixed into something like mince and even then a hassle..
I prefer to cook mine, a few extra eggs if I am making it for myself like once or twice...
