But come to think of it, Mals are known to have Generally better health than GSDs and there seems to be less focus on pedigrees so maybe there is some relation between Mals and a more natural dog.

A raw diet will aid in slowing down the shedding as will adding fish oil. Since I started adding fish oil my dogs shedding has reduced substantially.

Not sure what you mean by spraying. As far as marking, yes they will mark at maturity. However they will not do it in the house unless they are not fully house broke.
