If she were my dog I'd try to keep her as quiet as possible until the stitches are removed. Not saying this is the right or wrong answer, it's just what I'd do for any surgical procedure.

Scooby is 7-1/2 months old and eats 6 cups of food a day (2 cups per meal ... breakfast/lunch/dinner) and definitely isn't overweight. In fact I'm thinking about adding a light bedtime snack.
