I don't think anyone said that AKC herding dogs aren't talented. Some are, but many aren't, just like any other sport. It just does not test the dogs the way HGH does. A flock of 25 is very different...

I would skin them. Hair/fur CAN cause an impaction - Djenga had to have surgery a few years ago, it was mostly hair (her own) and some digested bone. So I don't feed anything with the fur on.
