The Girl Scouts had a great demo today at a "Work like a Dog" event. It was for all ages and very well received by all the girls and adults. Thanks for coming out!
It was suggested that all youth camps allow training of SAR dogs on their sites. If a child is lost, the teams will be familiar with the area. It is a great suggestion! I hope our Council sees the light.

Sounds like an excellent idea!. I know we did demo's at a Boy Scout camp once and it was well received.

Great suggestion! I know we have used scouts and CAP kids as training subjects.
