Global K9 Working Dogs is hosting a Cadaver Workshop for all Law Enforcement Teams and SAR teams.
Participants will be able to work search areas inside buildings, buried, under rubble, and vehicles. The instructors will provide guidance and assist you with any issues or concerns that you or your dog may be having. This is a hands-on workshop. Instructors will be John Bertuca and Ellen Ponall. John Bertuca is a sown deputy sheriff with experience as a Law Enforcement Cadaver dog handler and train. For his department, he handles Stitch, a working SAR dog, and is also head trainer for the department. Ellen Ponall has been working LE and SAR dogs since 1972. Ellen's expertise has allowed her to train many teams for SAR and LE. The workshop will be on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2011 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. There are limited spots to ensure that every team will get individual attention with the instructors. The seminar is $95.00/team.
