Search and Rescue FL

Does anyone know of any places that teach search and rescue here in Florida? Particularly central florida...tampabay area...

Please keep in mind that there are those that train SAR, and those that actually do SAR. So when you are looking for a trainer, if you are serious you might want to keep that in mind. SAR is expensive and a major commitment. Dogs are frequently certified through government organizations like FEMA or Law Enforcement Agencies. A true SAR dog is comparable to a Police K9.

I would contact different organizations that are actively doing SAR and see if they can recommend people/places to start. Ike has progeny that work with this group...Might be a place to start.
