I took a look earlier at the standards that were posted on the NSDA website. Very interesting. Anyone have thoughts?

If a dog is marking all over the place there is a problem but my dog does not carry a yardstick and does ocassionaly poo while working, but not excessively and does not mark. I am not sure why the 3 foot restriction. I can see not allowing the dog to go ON the source.
The sources seem very lmited and it seems you could theoretically qualify on old dried blood except for the one test with tissue. I like that NAPWDA requires a spectrum as well as an age spectrum. Fresh material is oftn hard to get and my dog had to have several training sessions with it to get a relaible alert.

I have suggested some things. They really need to run them by the AGs office as I do see some issues.....
