Default How young a dog can compete at regionals

As the title says)))))
Can a 5 month old compete? I thought at that age they can't be reliable enough at anything (possibly I'm wrong) but maybe they have a junior category or something?

Dog needs to be 15 months to get a BH. These are usually offered at regionals but it's not really "competing."

So no...a 5 month old can't compete in anything at ANY Schutzhund trial.

Ok)))) saw my raw organ supplier at the park last night. That's where all the weird questions come from. The dual receiver and the 5 month old.

Supposedly he's going to the regionals too and his trainer is going there too to compete with his 5 month old. There was more weird stuff but I don't need to post to know that he's wrong about those.

Are you sure it was IPO?

You can throw 5 months old into conformation shows...

He was a little drunk. actually you might be right because he was arguing with me that it's in PA when it's in NJ.

Whatever lol. Fun night. I was going to go in his car but now I'm not sure I can handle the ride there lmao

I'm not 100% sure...but I would imagine all USCA regional competitions should be over by now. Nationals is in about a month and people need to be getting their entries in for that.

15 months for the BH and 18 for the IPO1.

Could be a regional conformation show. They have puppy classes at those.

No USCA regional conformation shows in your area, but here is the website for the Northeastern regional IPO championships being held this coming weekend.
