Club Fundraising Ideas

Hello community,

My Schutzhund club is looking for fundraising ideas. We are already hosting a Temperament Test through the American Temperament Test Society. I've also thought of a raffle and silent auction at our next trail. Does anyone else have some ideas? What are some things you've done to raise money for your club and how successful was it? Thanks so much in advance. I appreciate your time.

On a side note - if anyone is interested in the Temperament Test, a Facebook Event page can be located at the following link.

Raffles are good.

We do a raffle at each trial; 100% of the proceeds from the ticket sales go straight to the true dog rescue (working dogs) in our area.

Thanks for the suggestions thus far. I really like the idea of a mock trail.

50/50 raffle often brings in good money. We also do raffles, and I don't know your trial setup, but we sell lunch and our trial banquet is grilled steak or good thick chops and members make side dishes which cuts cost alot. These help bring in revenue as well.

We also did a fun day that ended up being lucrative. We had fastest recall, dumbbell toss, etc. Also a nice break from trial stress

justde - Thanks so much for your suggestions! I like all of them but the fun day sounds like a great event. Like you said, takes some stress of trails and also it could be a good way to get clubs together for IPO minded conversation and fun. Thanks for the idea!
