Hi,
I was woundring I am starting my new pup training in couple weeks and my question is when do you nutire him if I will be doing schutzhund. He is only 14 weeks and vet said 6 month but they are not familier with the sport and breeder said 24month. Thank you |

Whether you do Schutzhund or not, in general it is better to wait until they are physically mature, so about 2 years.

A lot of pups do that - just discourage and redirect to other more acceptable activities. Not an indication of dominance or sexual maturity at this age.

Neutered dogs can do Schutzhund if they have the natural drive, nerve and aggression for the sport. I would wait until at least two but that is a personal decision you have to decide for your self and your dog.
