I'm working him in this video. I am dog sitting him for a week and did a little training with him Thursday and Saturday. Watchout. Before long he's going to be working the competition circuit!
I was told after this training that he didn't know "platz", and I know we've only been doing outs on the sleeve for a few weeks (3-4 times). This dog needs to be shown how to win and how to lose only once or twice, and then he simply doesn't screw up the command from then on out. To my knowledge, he has also never worn a prong collar or other corrective tool. The only corrections he has gotten are like what I did, just verbal.
