Default OT-A very Schutzhund Wedding!

One of our helpers got married yesterday. He and his fiancee told me that our place (WolfBrook), where the DVG club works, feels like home and wanted to get married here if we could work it out. Of course we were happy to do it and after a bunch of teamwork from the club members, we got it done! We had to empty out the clubhouse,(usually it's lined with crates) clean and scrub from top to bottom, set up and decorate! All our members really stepped up to the plate and made it a wonderful event. Then after all was said and done, we put the room back in order and did bitework LOL. (The bride and groom did NOT stay for that?)
Anyway, here are a few pics just for fun.

The groom is involved in the Highland games and plays the bagpipes, so some of his friends from that group played. I loved it!

Waiting for the bride

Time for the vows! It's official.

It's done, whew~

A quick pic of the new family, finally a chance to eat.

The most delicious red velvet wedding cake ever!

I was following this in the other thread too, how cool is this?

I remember when weddings were simple yet joyful functions that didn't require a five teir cake, champagne waterfalls and $2,000 dresses.

What a beautiful and heartfelt way for the lucky couple to say I do!

P.S. did you waive the $5.00 leaving early fee......

We thought so, too. It was really nice to just show up and really be a part of their day, not just a spectator.

And, hells no, we are absolutely going to get $5 from them next week, thanks for reminding me LOL!

What a great way to start a marriage! And yeah, they should pay their $5...I bet cleaning up was more involved than usual
Congrats to the newlyweds!
