Schutzhund, absolutely a family sport!! (video brag ;))
Just wanted to post this link to a video of my daughter working her 20 month old male GSD, Atticus. She grew up around Schutzhund, K9 training and working line GSDs and Beaucerons. After years of begging her dad and I finally consented and let her have her own pup to raise and train and hopefully title. For her first dog we decided a German High Line dog was a good choice, drivey enough to make it fun but not too much dog for a teenaged girl. She has done ALL of his tracking and obedience training herself along with the helpful community that is our DVG club. We decided early on that for bitework it was best if her dad didn't do the helper work, so most of his training at Schutzhund has been done with the other helpers but with mom and dad hanging over the fence, of course. Her goal is to get his BH hopefully this fall.

She is 14 going on 40, of course. She is very good with her dog, she even gets up early on her own to go run a track.
