----- Forwarded Message ---- From: Tanya K. <pupsavr4life@cox.net> To: Undisclosed-Recipient@yahoo.com Sent: Fri, June 3, 2011 5:26:55 PM Subject: BEGGING!!! Lafayette-Merrillville IN **Sun,5 Jun** 2 GSD's This is the ONLY leg standing between Q and Posh's rescue!! PLEASE HELP!! SHEPHERD SHUTTLE!! Saturday, June 4 – Sunday, June 5, 2011 Rossville, GA to Ft. Atkinson & Brooklyn, WI Route: GA TN KY IN IL WI (I-24, I-65, I-80/94, I-294, I-290, I-90, IL-53, US-12) Coordinated by: Tanya Kittrell, pupsavr4life@cox.net, 918-671-0123 Please meet Q & Posh!! Both of these beauties are currently in temporary foster care. In Q's short 2 years of life, he has changed "owners" 6 times. His initial owner died, he was given to a rescue who rehomed him, the person who adopted him gave him to another family, he escaped from that family's yard during tornadic weather, was then picked up by animal control, the owners were located, but they did not want him and signed him over to the shelter. Unfortunately, he was not a candidate for adoption through the shelter because he suffers from EPI, a malabsorption condition, and his very life depends on this transport. Posh was picked up as a stray and never claimed, even though she was super sweet. It was soon discovered that she had HW disease, which made her a top candidate for euthanization. Both need to get to rescue -- Q so he can receive the treatment he desperately needs, and Posh so she can start the search for her long-awaited forever home now that she's recovered from HW treatment. PLEASE help them get there!! **This is a quarantined transport. All additional passengers must have been out of the shelter environment for a minimum of 2 weeks. Requests to add passengers must be received no later than Wed, June 1st.** If you're able to assist with this transport, please do NOT respond to me on-list as I would hate to miss your offer. Instead, please email me directly at pupsavr4life@cox.net (@cox.net) with the following information: Leg willing to drive: Indianapolis overnight?
