Elizabethtown, KY - Annabelle escaped from transport Saturday, March 5th

Annabelle, a 2.5 year old black and tan German Shepherd, has escaped from transport!!

It happened about an hour ago (2pm EST) at the Best Western in Elizabethtown, KY!! She is dragging a 4ft. blue and white patterned leash and was last seen heading east over I-65 on N. Mulberry St./Bardstown Rd. Her bio is below and pics are attached.

The Elizabethtown Police Department, Hardin County Dog Warden, Harden County Animal Control and KY State Police were all called, but this is not considered an "emergency", and the agencies are offering ZERO assistance. Please post to everyone you know in the area and contact Tanya directly at 918-671-0123 if she is found. E-mail is pupsavr4life@cox.net . She's a sweet girl, but is very nervous in new situations. If sighted, please do NOT chase her! Use treats and and soft voices, and try to make her come to you.

I didn't see this posted here last evening and I posted Annabelle in the "Lost & Found" section this morning - hopefully both posts can stay and maybe more people will see at least one of them!

No problem rays mom, I wasn't sure which forum it was best suited for.

The latest update just sent out now:

Annabelle was spotted and tracked for about an hour running up and down the median of I-65. She's now off of the interstate and down in the thicket. Several volunteers, including Annabelle's ex temp foster, are on scene trying to find her. She hasn't been seen for the last 10 minutes.

Oh thank goodness, I was reading this, every post, and my heart started to beat fast when she was on the interstate. Thank gosh for the lord intervening and making sure of her safe return!!

That's a relief. I just posted and deleted it on my Facebook status. I have a lot of "friends" in KY.
