Transport help for puppy - NC to MD

VGSR would like to pull a 10 week old puppy from Wilson, NC; however, we need help pulling him from the shelter and getting him up to MD. Could anyone help get him at least to the Richmond, VA area?

You should check that post you did for general help. There is GSDBESTK9 person who offered in a civic makes trip MD-NC and back every 2 wks.

I may be able to pull in NC and get to state line in VA on I-95 depending on date.
I'm in Greenville, NC. Wilson is about an hour out from here.

I would not mind transporting, however, because I will have my puppy with me and I won't risk his life. I would have to be 100% sure this pup doesn't have parvo. Coming from a shelter, you never know.

Thanks, Jolee. I had already checked with GSDBESTK9, but I understand her position. The shelter is not willing to parvo test this pup for me prior to pulling.

I'm wanting to pull him as soon as possible. Would you be available Monday or Tuesday?

I know I'm an unknown here but i might could help get the pup to at least the Virginia border. I live in the Rocky Mount area so Wilson is only about 30 mins. from me.

I live in the Richmond area. I would be willing to go to the state line and pick up the puppy and bring him at least to Richmond. Possibly further.

It looks like Daydreamer can pull Monday afternoon. I can't pull until at least Tuesday. If you are feeling a sense of urgency than you may want to have Daydreamer, who is closer than I am, go ahead on Monday. Especially if DharmasMom can p/u Monday too.

I should be able to leave work around 3:00 (maybe earlier if needed) to get puppy. Wilson is about 30 mins. from me. Waiting to hear from VGSR for more details. DharmasMom would you be able to meet me at the rest area around 6:30 or so if everything works out?
