Default Helping With Rescue Transport

Hello. One of the ways I could possibly help out rescues that is compatible with my life right now is transportation. I would really like to become a transport volunteer, but since I live in north central Florida, the opportunities never seem to turn up where I could volunteer. Any of the rescues or volunteers reading this, do you ever need transport volunteers in this area? Just looking for a way to help out. I have plenty of time right now and a reliable vehicle and cell. Just wanted to put that time to good use! Thank you!

Sorry mods! I wasn't sure if this section was only for listing transports and dates.

Awesome! I transport, too. Once you do a few of them, you will become more familiar with which ones go through your area and when. I started by joining some yahoo groups for transporting. You can go to yahoo.com, go to groups, and search and find the best ones for you (your area), but here's a couple that I am a member of:

i just sent you a pm, too, and just wanted to add - never be afraid to ask lots of questions, and ask for references if you are volunteering for someone that you have never volunteered for. You want to make sure the dogs are going to a great place!
