Remember these pictures? This is when I first got them and they were almost feral. Sandy has done wonders with them.

thanks for the reminder. Before, I couldn't get near them unless they were cornered, now they fight to see who gets petted first They're a good sight all relaxed and sprawled out on the couch... I don't even mind that I'm delegated to the chair, good thing it's comfy!

Hi Sandy,

Do you currently live in Leominster? Guess what, so do I!! Wow, what a small world.

I'm Lisa, I was the one with the camera in everyone's faces on Saturday at Echo's 2nd reunion. Terry asked me to see if I have any pictures of you and your girls. It may take me a little while to check as I took almost 1700 photos!

If I find any, I will let Terry know.

Take care,
Lisa Patnaude

Well, we ended up moving back to Leominster, MA, my hometown in December. We were lucky and found place with a HUGE hilly fenced in backyard. The yams are loving the leg stretching and running about but not so much having neighbors so close. (We couldn't even see our neighbors at the old house) So, they have regressed a little bit as far as "new" people. The funny thing is they are much more sociable with me here, instead of hanging out in the loft.
I have found a great daycare place for them. They begin next week. It is also cage free for boarding... I have been getting them ready for that by reminding them that I need to see my mommy too. So far they are turning a deaf ear in protest....
They are blossoming though, Emma has just started playing out in the yard with me. I feel bad, if I throw a ball she ducks and if I try to play chase she gets all panicy, she won't bite on things for tug of war... the only thing I have found out that she loves ecstatically is to be given a paper towel to shred. It's like she was just given a steak, lol! any suggestions as far as games? ... maybe daycare will bring out the beast in her. She is a little bossy though for all her shyness and has decided not to give up her bones to Baby without a few growls. The first few times were hysterical, Baby just looked at her all confused like "did you just growl at me?" and "what do you mean I can't have that lovely cookie?" Although I will admit, my face must have looked just as confused. I was so proud she had decided to stop being such a pushover to her.
Oh, I had no idea it was so late... bathroom and bedroom for all. That's all for now

PS- Is anyone going to the Echo Second Annual Family Reunion in Boxford MA this weekend? I would love to meet up and say Hi if you are....

OMG Lisa! What a small world indeed! I think you got a few pictures of them. It would be towards the end of the pics as we got there late. Can you forward them to me also if you did get some. They are so hard to photograph. They even nabbed me trying to get them on my camera phone. Thanks!

The yams are doing great in doggie day care and come home all floppy and exhausted. It is such a good sight to see. Next week they'll be staying overnight as a trial run for when I go away in July. Lol, I'll probably be standing there with my face pressed against the window all night while the yams snooze comfortably in the A/C. Speaking of A/C, Emma has decided she likes to cuddle even in 90 degree weather. It was a great motivation to bring the A/C up from cellar the next day!
That's all for now... oh, and we just found a great dog walking park over by the day care. Much love, Sandy and the yams
