My wife and I did a lot of work with malinois rescue for a few years and even though we have many stories, Jax is the one people love the most. My wife write this and it was publiched on the rescue site and ABMC's magazine. (Yes, I'm Ed and she did almost kill me at first). The Miami Dade shelter held him for several days while we tried to get down there to at least ID him (and Sedonna / Sunny), they never do this. If I didn't pull him he would have been put down.

He was an amazing dog. We had many great malinois go though our home (plus a few mixes). Some were beautiful, some were very intelligent, but it is Jax's story that brings a tear to everyone when they read about it.
![]() Here is a pic of Jax and Sunny / Sedonna (she was the mal / GSD mix), I pulled them both the same day.

Beautiful story. Thanks for taking a chance on Jax. I am going for the Kleenex now.

Thank you, I'm thinking of writing similar stories for the other rescues. We did have quite a few.
![]() As far as we know the original adopters still have him (I think my wife spoke to them a couple of months ago). This whole thing happened maybe 3 years ago?
