Thanks for the pix... they are all (GSD's in general) beautiful. Where, when (like right now!) and with whom would one begin to choose/investigate for a potential adoption? So many older (8+ y.o. dogs that deserve more... So hard to begin, like your own children, how could a parent choose one over the other? It is hard coming back to this section... to see all that are in need, knowing ya can't save them all. I can't imagine becoming a breeder (to give them away for $$), and I can only imagine how difficult it must be as a foster or working as a rescue... I would like to take a look at these (older ?) guys as I mentioned in earlier posts, sooner rather than later... if/when/as soon as I can get the support at home to adopt another GSD.

We've been working so hard for Teddy...but no luck. He's a great senior and would fit in well anywhere. He loves to talk & cuddle!!
Bump for Teddy!

He is beautiful and looks calm. Has anyone been looking at him?

GSR-SP and SASRA have both seen him...but neither of us have any room. We haven't really had any adopters at the shelter either. He's been there since 11/28 because of his ear infections that needed to be cleared up. It's hard for the public to see beyond the fact that he's a senior. I think he's quite handsome and as Mary Ann said, he's just a love. I'm in Florida till April or I would try to pull him. I hate to see him get lost in the shuffle when he has such a great personality. Isn't that what we're always looking for? I've emailed everybody I can think of to take a look at him.
