Teddy, has been to the vet and is HW negative Yea! his ears look great too! his skin needs to clear, but that will happen in time. Now off to the groomer to defuzz the clumpy fur.
Many people passed up a GREAT dog and the vet said he really isn't as senior as we think, 5-6 tops! Thanks to all of you who followed his story, and we are glad to be his happy ending.

Teddy update! It has been a week, and it is amazing how quickly they can get spoiled. I have to share this story, it's 2:00 AM my husband couldn't sleep so he went down stairs to watch some TV as he rounded the corner, guess who was occupying the couch! Teddy was sprawled out all over it! I wish I had a camera to see his face, but I bet he wasn't groggied eyed any more!
He has adjusted very well loves to play squeeker toys, so much it can last over an hour. I agree older dogs are the best! will post some new pictures soon.

I know this is an old thread but found it when I was looking for another. I was the other application that took the puppy instead (my Jax) after much discussion with Kate. When I adopted Jax, I made sure that Teddy wouldn't be left behind. I'm so glad that he went to a wonderful home with his own boys for the time he had left. Thank you Christine. I still have the picture Kate sent me with your boys wrapped around him on his first night home.
