Well, I went and pick up Blue. All I can say is poor puppy. He smell horrible and was infested with fleas. He also has an ear infection in each ear. We went straight to the vet, he now has ALL shots, he got a flea and tick treatment, plus a heartgurd. He also got a dewormer. I will post picks as soon as he gets a bath on Sat.

Honestly, he is a great dog. He's very friendly. I left him in the kennels at the training field, because he smells so bad but he will be getting a bath Saturday morning. He is very dominate though, so I'm a little concerned with how he will do with my boy. With his being so flea infested I didn't want to do the meet and great yet. That will also be done Saturday. But I have a whole line of people that want to adopt him, plus Perry is gonna temp test him for an Autistic(not sure I spelled that right) child. If that works Blue is gonna have a job, not just be a house pet. We will see how everything goes Saturday. If him and Stryker get along he's staying here. If not its good to know I have a back up plan.

He is a sweet dog. Does not seem interested in a ball other than run as it rolls but the moment the ball stops, so does he. He does LOVE TO RUN. He was running circles in our indoor training area
Lish is correct though...he is a STINKIE

Wow, sorry, i got all caught up in the whole Chewbacca thread. Thats great that there r people ready for him if things dont work out. I feel so bad that he was so neglected, i cant wait to see the new and improved Blue! She probably never played with him at all, which is hard to imagine...How someone can have GSD's and not give them attention. If Buck wants to play with a ball he will drop it right in your lap, lol...

Blue doesn't seem to know what a ball is. Though he does like to chase things.

Oh...you got him?? Sorry, I was REALLY late on the PM you sent. I guess you went and got him this afternoon. Are you fostering him for us (GSR-SP) or are you doing this on your own? Regardless...good job Lish!!! Can't wait to see pics.

Does he seem ok otherwise, like his whole outlook on life, is he a happy dog, or one that looks to have been ignored...

I'm doing it on my own. GSR-SP and I couldn't agree on my training method.
Christa, his out look on life is great. He had his first lesson today. I was able to get him to understand come and sit is still a work in progress. They did NOTHING with this dog. He doesn't even respond to his name.

I know, it's disgraceful. Like I said, if I had known earlier, I would have said something. I'm glad he still loves life though, and is kind of taking to the training. I was telling my husband that I am sooo looking forward to seeing his updates and improvement!
