Default Camo & Shaggy - True Rescues!

Camo and Shaggy, 10 & 12 years old, lived most of their lives in an outside car lot. Their bed was a pile of dirt swept in the corner on top of the concrete.

I did not hold out much hope for finding these two old boys a foster home.

Along comes our newest angel, Patti, who took in BOTH of these old guys. She said that they loved sleeping inside, on soft dog beds. And Camo, who has vision problems, has already delevoped a crush on one of her own GSDs named Mia.

One of them is HW positive, I can't remember which one.

People like Patti restore my faith in humans.

Thanks for the story.

Dogs shouldn't have to live like that. Criminals in prison have better living conditions they don't deserve.

Sounds like those 2 precious babies had two angels watching over them, one named Lea and the other named Patti.

Thanks for the kind words. VGSR has the most amazing bunch of volunteers that you could ever imagine. Every time I think I can't be surprised by their kindness any more than I already have, they manage to do it, in spades.

The fact that we also help out the old, sick and very needy dogs is something that I am just so proud of that it makes my heart swell.
