Great Photo's! You can just see him go from a sad boy to a happy fella. I think he must have been loved and ended up with the wrong people somehow. One day he just decided it was time to go find his person again...and there you were. Thanks for loving this handsome boy
My furs are not in storage, nor draped across the bed. They're peering out the kennel door just waiting to be fed.
Heinz' fur is getting so thick! I'm not sure if this is because he's finally getting his actual, "real" coat in, or if it's because he's putting on his winter woolies. Either way, I'm noticing he's getting a red tint to his tan fur. Which is gorgeous, and exciting to me because I figured he had a real "washed out" coloring. But maybe he's still got some transforming to do!

What a wonderful story, and the pictures are priceless. The world needs more people like you (and your ever-tolerant hubby!). Heinz found the perfect place to land.

Bumping this up to announce that it is just past Heinz's 2nd Finding Day anniversary. And he's still completely awesome
His current jobs include: taking the paper to the recycling bin every morning, "helping" get the mail through the mail slot (thank goodness he got just the envelope and not my passport), and carrying the growlers home from the beer store. He also goes to the barn and supervises me while I school dressage.
