From someone who has a high drive psycho 1 yr old and a foster pup I agree with your line of thinking... pups are soo cute and love to snuggle them but really really love the older more normal dogs that find joy in just lounging lol.

Whether you think you're a hero or not...I do, and I guarantee the seniors do to. I agree puppies are, well the only good thing about them is they turn into dogs That being said....we have a senior and I love him to pieces, but he isn't easy or cheap So keep up the good work!!!
