Cain has been a remarkable dog in many ways - he has never shown any food aggression, people aggression or animal aggression and if ever a dog had a right to any of those things it would be Cain.
He has allowed me to treat his wounds on a daily basis for over a month now and we are making great progress. Only the very deepest wound remains and it is slowly healing. Cain was well enough this past weekend to meet some new dogs and the meeting went so well that Cain, who will now be named Logan, will be going to his forever home on the 30th! I am so happy for him - he is completely deaf - we don't know if it is permanent or temporary but just such a nice tempered boy that he is never startled to wake up and see a bunch of dogs or people around him - I can't imagine the cruelty inside of the person that allowed him to be in such horrible shape - just very grateful for all of the support from the people on this board that help and support our efforts and make it possible for us to help the dogs like him. Cain now Logan sends many Puppy Paws to all of you!

I am so glad he is doing well. Man I read about Patrick then Logan. People can be so sick, but then there are the people that go above and beyond to help. I am glad he is getting back on his feet. Thanks for the updates
