No owner claimed her. She is tagged today by the rescue. I am to meet at the Lowe's in the morning to get her from the rescue folks.

I am too tired to get pictures, but will get them soon. It was a 200 mile trip to get her. Our vet was booked but he took us in. We called on the way home with her and went directly to the office.

She is heartworm negative. Yay! I think she is lovely, all 54 boney pounds of her. Skin is a wreck and she was flea infested. Her ears are so bad they are hypertrophied nearly closed and full of yeast and bacteria.

She got a lot of treatment started and then had her medicated bath. Though she is obviously in pain, her spirits have really picked up. Nice temperament on her. I keep saying she is beautiful, but my friend says I have a very good imagination!
