My CraigsList find!
Recently searching my local areas on Craigslist I came across a beautiful sable german shepherd boy and knew I had to find out more about him. His owner was giving him up, for what reason I do not know. He is sweet, loves my other dogs, and very well trained. I'm not sure of his breeding, though its probably german or czech due to his color and the angle of his back.
I'm just stunned at the dogs you can find, and just being given away at that. I was so excited I had to share  His next step is to get neutered! Not so sure he'll be too happy about that! lol(He is the sable in the pictures, the black and tan is my female)

Looks similar to my Koda, just a little darker! I got Koda from Craigslist as well, found out he came with Heartworm that we've obviously treated. Has this guy been given a clean bill of health? Just be weary, people aren't always forthright about why they're giving up their dogs! A lady found Koda as a stay (so she said), which leads me to believe someone dumped him due to the Heartworm...
Not trying to scare you, he's probably fine, but just make sure! He's beautiful!

He has been given a clean bill of health from my vet- I got his shot records from his old owner. So aside from having long nails, needing a good brushing and a bit of weight (and to be neutered), he's great!

So glad you found him rather than someone else looking to breed him. Didn't the owner have any info on his breeder or background/ Or just wouldn't share it with you?
