You know what, I love hearing stories about people that adopt older dogs, I am so happy that they got out of whatever situtation they were in and are now in a loving home.

I was afraid to adopt an adult dog, I feared for my cats and my dogs safety and I didn't know if I could love or trust the dog like I could a puppy that I raised.

I love my Rogy Bear and I have only had him for 17 days. It feels like I have always had him, like he grew up with my dog and cats. He fit in right away with my family.

I encourage everyone to adopt a dog.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that found my doggie on Craigslist, lol! We almost adopted a 2 yo gsd through Craigslist, but she had severe hip dysplasia. At least the owner was honest. But then we found Jackie on Craigslist and she's smart as a whip.

he's very handsome! good looking boy. I got Shasta from an accidental breeding before mama could get fixed (dad tore through two walls and a window to get to her when they tried to keep them seperate) and i rescued Shelby from the local yard sale site. both are very good girls. when we move to our next station i'm hoping to adopt a senior GSD
