Chatsworth,GA-3yf-Sweet-Injured! to rescue
I{1)Pretty 3-yr-old purebred GSD girl has multiple injuries - deep gouges on all feet and elbows. She also is very skinny. Her injuries have been cleaned, but she will need immediate medical help and some TLC. Even still, she is a sweet and friendly girl. She will make a great family pet!
This very sweet puppy is in need of immediate TLC and rescue! She will have to be saved ASAP or PTS. She's at the high-kill Murray County Shelter in Chatsworth , GA (just north of Atlanta and just south of Chattanooga , TN )! Please help her live!! NOTE: The pup must have a rescue lined up ASAP, but can stay at the shelter a couple days longer if needed. Free transport to Atlanta provided. + transport to the NE available Please e-mail or call ASAP as the shelter will not hold this pup past Sun, June 13. We appreciate your rescue help! This is a very rescue friendly shelter! The ladies will work hard to get these guys to safety. Whatever happened to this poor girl - she must be in pain and very uncomfortable.

Southern Cross will be committing to this girl...they can't let her suffer. That being said they also just took in a mangey puppy that also needs alot of care(I will start a thread for him in "where they are now"). If anyone can help...contact Southern Cross for ways you can...they would certainly appreciate that

poor girl
 ( thanks for taking her in,,those injuries look like road burns, i wonder if some idiot threw her out of a car? poor girl, glad she'll be taken care of

I agree about the road burns - my thoughts exactly! Thanks for taking her, what a sad situation but she will get a second chance!!!

She is going to need several surgeries but for now she needs to get a little stronger. She is on pain meds and is eating well. Her bandages have to be changed daily. On top of all the injuries she is HW positive. Her injuries are severe and it will take some time for complete recovery.
