Rescue story in contest

I'm cross posting this and if it's in the wrong section, please move to appropriate spot...It is a "where are they now" story contest to benefit the rescue organization...thanks!

This isn't something I usually do but Iams is giving $500 for the best adoption story and (VGSR) Virginia German Shepherd Rescue has one of the five finalists for that money. I'm a volunteer for this rescue and they do some really outstanding work.

Thanks Remo, and you're welcome! Drake and I did a cross-country journey last year, just the two of us. We put over 20,000 miles behind us, thus my signature! Where I go, he goes.

And thanks to those who voted! I cried when I read it too, but at least it has a happy ending. Here's hoping VGSR will make many more!
